Finally our new website is up and running and we aim to bring regular news and updates to our costumers, as well as those of you out there who are not yet a Mandaloun convert, but we know that you will fall in love with our restaurant once you set foot in it. This weeks blog is all about Mandaloun’s design and the inspiration behind its beautiful decor.
Mandaloun Westfield London Lebanese restaurant, bar and lounge is a heaven of style, class and delights. This is the second time restaurateur Zack Barakat and multi award-winning designer Lee Broom have collaborated together after their much acclaimed creation Coquine, in South Kensington. Mandaloun incorporates exclusive fret cut pendants and walls lit with unique carnival bulbs to give the place a warm yet crisp oriental feel.
The dark browns and warm beiges of the venue ooze charm, calm and refinement. The food is ‘nouvelle vague’ Lebanese, with its melting pot of respect for tradition and attachment to modernity. The freshest ingredients are sourced from the market every day to be combined with a subtle harmony of herbs and spices. This produced delicate combinations of flavours and aromas, served as succulent mezze, couscous, shawarmas, but also as mouth-watering grills and fish dishes.
